This summer will be a sporty one...

Due to our central location in the Brixen Valley and on the doorstep of Kitzbühel, numerous activities of the region are at your feet. Most of the time you can start right in front of the house or in a few minutes walking distance. The most important tips and "must-dos" are here. In addition, we draw from our insider knowledge and are happy to give you many more tips along the way.

Hiking

The best view is from the "main mountain" and can be started from directly infront of the chalet, the Gaisbergjoch round. It is a moderately difficult hike, about 4 1/2 hours and 1600 meters of altitude have to be overcome. The panoramic trail on the Hahnenkamm can be started either from the village or also with the Fleckalm gondola. Numerous restaurants and mountain huts invite you to linger. From here you can take the bus directly to the valley station of the Fleckalm cable car, which will take you to the starting point of the hike. We also want to mention the close proximity to Aschau and the hiking paradise of the Upper and Lower mountains. Pure nature, a cheese producing dairy and a relaxing "Kneipp" water park await you there.

Cycling

The Kitzbüheler Alps have always been the scene of top-class biking events such as the World Championship in Marathon, the Bike4Peaks, the TransAlp, the first European Enduro Championship, numerous international cross-country races, and many more. With good reason: because through the gentle mountain landscape with its countless alpine pastures, an almost endless network of mountain bike routes, single trails and bike paths in all possible facets. Biking fun unlimited - from the beginning of May until the end of October! Our personal favorite tour is the bike - tour Aschau - Kasplatz - Unterer Grund. During the varied ride you enjoy shady forests and blooming meadows. And the best thing about it,you can start everything directly from Landhaus Seinander, also the bike rental is only 100 m away from the house.

Swimming and bathing lakes

The public bathing and recreational facility is only 15 minutes walk from the chalet. Embedded in a charming landscape, surrounded by forest and meadows, the generously designed bathing facility, with its shady trees, offers pure relaxation. An attractive infrastructure makes bathing an experience for young and old: 25 m wide wave slide, 50 m water slide, 3 m +1 m diving tower, 2 stand-up paddles, heated outdoor pool, non-swimmer area, large children's area, beach volleyball court, table-tennis tables, rowing boats, lakeshore launches, free parking. Not to forget, the Alpen See has drinking water quality, one of our strongest in Tyrol.

Rafting/Canyoning

For those who want to experience the mighty power of alpine nature up close and feel like breathtaking white water tours or unique canyoning trips through spectacular gorges, we recommend guided tours with our local guides. Look forward to an action-packed experience in the most beautiful river landscapes - wild, calm, turbulent, romantic.

Guest card

With the local tax you already pay the guest card of the Kitzbüheler Alpen. The special thing about it: free public transport from the day of arrival to the day of departure. With the train from Wörgl to Hochfilzen, with the bus almost in the whole district you are thus free of charge.
